The 2021 Fall Meeting of the Atomic Energy Society of Japan was held online from September 8 to 10, 2021. In the activity report session by the committee on decommissioning of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station (NPS), Mr. Naoaki Okuzumi, Senior Manager of the R&D Strategy Planning Department, the International Research Institute for Nuclear Decommissioning (IRID), delivered a presentation about the current status of research and development conducted by IRID.
