Visit by Members of the Fukushima Prefectural Assembly to the Kyoto University Research Reactor Institute (April 10, 2014)
On April 10, 2014, five members of the Fukushima Mirai Network (President: Mr. Koji Takano) from the Fukushima Prefectural Assembly visited the Kyoto University Research Reactor Institute (KURRI), to which President of IRID, Hajimu Yamana, belongs. KURRI is a research facility jointly used by universities throughout Japan.
In addition to learning about the various possibilities presented by radiation therapy and the utilization of radioactivity using the KURRI facilities such as for neutron capture therapy,
Network members took part in a lively Q&A session with Dr. Yamana.
