Storage-Transport Expert Panel of Japan Atomic Industrial Forum: Lecture by Mr. Naoaki Okuzumi, Senior Manager of R&D Strategy Planning Department (February 14, 2023)

The Storage-Transport Expert Panel of the Japan Atomic Industrial Forum (JAIF), Inc. organized an annual meeting on February 14, 2023. Mr. Naoaki Okuzumi, the Senior Manager of the R&D Strategy Planning Department at the International Research Institute of Nuclear Decommissioning (IRID) delivered a lecture titled “Status of research and development (R&D) for the Decommissioning of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station (NPS)” at the meeting.

The lecture featured the status of R&D for nuclear decommissioning conducted by IRID and attracted approximately 40 participants who listened with keen interest and asked various questions at the meeting.

IRID will promote positive cooperation with universities and research institutes through on-demand courses and lectures.
