Participation of the workshop ‘Decommissioning Basic Research: Human resource development program’ hosted by MEXT (FY2014)
For gathering knowledge from various fields and developing human resource to promote safe and steady decommissioning, Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) conducts ‘Decommissioning Basic Research: Human resource development program’. Among the priority fields of this program, MEXT focuses especially on mid-and-long-term basic research, which is difficult to develop by private organizations alone, in order to promote the ‘mid-to-long-term human resource development and collaboration with universities and research organizations’ described in the “Mid-and-Long-Term Roadmap towards the Decommissioning of TEPCO’s Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station Units 1-4.”

He also participated in the panel discussion ‘Step / Method to promote the area as a hub for decommissioning human resource development’ at the human resource development session as a panelist.
